The Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI) recently hosted a landmark convocation ceremony for its JOSH initiative. Held at the Bharat Ratnam Mega Common Facility Centre (CFC) in SEEPZ, the event celebrated the graduation of the 6th batch of specially abled candidates and the 12th batch of regular trainees.
Dignitaries in Attendance: The event featured esteemed leaders from the trade:

- Chief Guest: Mr Amit Pratihari, Managing Director, GIA (Gemological Institute of America).

A Step Toward Inclusivity The ceremony, supported by Mr Rajeev Garg (CEO, GJSCI) and Mr Kiran Padture (GMO, GJSCI), highlighted the industry’s shift toward an inclusive workforce. By training specially abled candidates alongside regular batches, GJSCI is bridging the gap between talent and opportunity in the gem and jewellery sector.
