New Delhi: Activewear brand TechnoSport has appointed Achal Sharma as its chief technology officer to lead the company’s technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives, it said in a media release on Wednesday.

In his new role, Sharma will oversee the brand’s technology vision across digital platforms, engineering, data science and product capabilities, while strengthening its technology architecture and supporting the company’s next phase of growth.

Sharma brings over 18 years of experience in building and scaling technology teams. Prior to joining TechnoSport, he held leadership roles at companies including Wakefit, Myntra, Mobile Premier League, and Vision11.

Commenting on the appointment, Puspen Maity said Sharma’s experience in scaling technology teams and driving innovation will help strengthen the company’s digital ecosystem.

Sharma said he looks forward to building scalable technology platforms to support the brand’s growth and enhance consumer engagement.

The appointment comes as TechnoSport looks to strengthen its digital capabilities and expand its presence in India’s growing activewear market.
