The 18th edition of IIJS Bharat–Signature 2026 opened today with a ceremonial inauguration at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, reinforcing Mumbai’s position as the epicentre of India’s gems and jewellery trade.
The ceremony took place in the presence of eminent industry and diplomatic leaders. Guests of Honour included Arun Narayan, CEO – Jewellery Division at Tanishq, and Neeraj Agarwal, Ambassador-Designate to Mauritania (West Africa). Senior leadership from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) also attended, led by Chairman Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman Shaunak Parikh, and Executive Director Sabyasachi Ray.
Two Venues, One Integrated Marketplace
IIJS Bharat–Signature 2026 is taking place across two landmark venues in Mumbai. The Jio World Convention Centre hosts the show from 8–11 January 2026, while the Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO, Goregaon, runs from 9–12 January 2026. Alongside the jewellery exhibition, IGJME Bharat – Signature 2026 presents a focused showcase of machinery and technology for the sector.
Scale, Reach and Sourcing Excellence
The exhibition spans over 1.25 lakh square metres and hosts more than 1,600 exhibitors across 3,300+ stalls. It welcomes over 25,000 trade buyers from 800+ Indian cities. International participation remains strong, with 1,400 buyers from 40 countries and 12 overseas buyer delegations.
Visitors can source across the full jewellery value chain. Categories include gold, diamond, silver and studded jewellery, loose natural diamonds, coloured gemstones, couture and fine jewellery, lab-grown diamonds, and allied machinery.
