Spanish sportswear brand KELME has forayed into India with a 1,000 sq. ft. experiential store in Noida, marking its offline debut alongside the launch of its e-commerce platform.

The flagship outlet houses 150+ SKUs and over 500 variants, spanning performance-led apparel and footwear designed for high-intensity indoor and outdoor sports.

Founded in 1960, the brand operates in 100+ countries and is now targeting India’s fast-growing activewear market with technically engineered products featuring advanced moisture management and breathability suited for tropical conditions.

“The next phase of India’s sportswear market will be performance-led, driven by serious grassroots training and demand for competition-grade products,” said Anurag Singh, CEO, KELME India.

As part of its scale-up strategy, KELME plans to expand via a franchise-led model, targeting 70 Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) over the next three years, while strengthening its digital channels.

The India entry is backed by RSN Sports, which will support retail rollout and market development.

Beyond retail, the brand has also launched ‘Project 1000’, an initiative aimed at supporting 1,000 aspiring athletes as part of its long-term play in India’s evolving sports ecosystem.

With a legacy spanning over six decades and strong global sports affiliations, KELME is positioning itself as a performance-first challenger in India’s increasingly competitive sportswear market.
