Sustainable luxury jewellery brand Solitario has expanded into the Maldives, marking its eighth international market, as it accelerates its global retail footprint.

The brand has partnered with Essence Retail to roll out its lab-grown diamond collections across a network of luxury resorts via a shop-in-shop model, including properties such as Taj Exotica, Ozen Reserve Bolifushi, and JW Marriott.

“Our Maldives entry aligns with our vision of building sustainable luxury experiences that resonate with environmentally conscious consumers,” said Ricky Vasandani, Founder, Solitario.

As part of Phase 1, Solitario will establish a presence across key island destinations, culminating in a 1,200 sq. ft. flagship boutique at Marina CROSSROADS, positioned as the anchor of its Maldives operations.

Building on this, the brand has outlined Phase 2 expansion with 15+ additional shop-in-shop locations and a second flagship store, deepening its play in the high-value luxury tourism market.
